Mhairi, our chair, visited Kamuli in October 2025
She is delighted to report that the school and farm are thriving.

Typical School Lunch!
Mhairi was invited for lunch and delighted to learn that every child at the school is now receiving a daily school lunch
The children are receiving a nutritious lunch daily of bean stew
Also supplemented with vegetables and Kassava
Progress at the Farm continues
The farm is now planted with a range of crops and is producing 50% of food required for the daily school lunch. It is productive and support 3 farm workers. Edith, the headmistress has also persuaded the local diocese to donate more land near the school on which to grow food for lunch. The diocese was keen to do this after seeing the success of the project initiated by SLK
