Kamuli is situated within Busoga, one of the remaining traditional Bantu kingdoms of the Ugandan people. The Busoga Kingdom is bordered on four sides by water: to the north by Lake Kyoga, on the west by the Victoria Nile, on the south by Lake Victoria, and on the east by the Mpologoma River.
The Flag of Busoga has inspired the colours for our charity.
Blue: represents the water of the River Nile, Lake Victoria, River Mpologoma and Lake Kyoga.
Yellow: Represents the warm and sunny weather experienced in Busoga throughout the year.
Brown: Represents the fertile brown soils found in this area.
